Hilly
town, situated at the eastern part of Nepal, which is the administrative
headquarters of eastern development regions. Most of the regional offices
were stated around Dhankuta bazar areas and also have been NGOs offices.
Then and now, there is a sharp contrast between bazar and it is surrounded
by rural villages. The town primarily populated by Newar but later other
castes types also mixed & run their trading as Newar goodly. Then
the time, it is commercial centre, but a later developing means of transportation
& roads , some commercial have shared at different commercial areas
like Hile, Basantapur, Pakhribas, Uttarpani, Leguwa etc.
Society
of Dhankuta bazar, & its rural areas is made up of many caste/tribal
groups, like
Rai's and Limbus with numbers of migrated Tibetans. Their professions
are mainly agriculture & some have business also. Mainly the Dhankuta
district agriculturist productions the crops like, maize, rice, millet
& cash crops like citrus, cauliflower, ginger & now teas too &
by the connection of North-South, koshi highway with Dhankuta bazar and
being the development of every field like road networks, distributions
electricity fulfill the physical infrastructure of districts development
slowly.
